Chamber retreat 2012 - day 1

Greetings from Lincoln City, OR! We are staying at the wonderful Dunlap Lodge on the "D" river. We left West Salem around 4pm, thanks to the amazing efforts of our wonderful chaperons, drove through crazy rain and saw swollen rivers and plenty of beautiful skunk cabbage (my favorite spring time bloom). A quick jaunt to the beach after pizza (it was amazingly beautiful, and not raining... but a little chilly) and it was time for some games and hanging out. Tonight was dedicated to spending some time together, which we've done in spades. Seems as though everyone is snuggled down in their own beds - thanks to the great accommodations here (thank you Lowen family!!!).

Tomorrow we're headed towards a day of rehearsing... we're excited to buckle down and get to work!
