KAMA (Keizer Academy of Music and Arts) scholarship opportunity

From Keizer Academy of Music and Arts:

Submit now for our annual

Scholarship Essay Contest!

KAMA is offering a ten-month-long full scholarship for private music or acting lessons to the author of the winning essay:

“Why I Want (Music or Acting) Lessons at KAMA”

The essay contest is open to any child age 8 – 18. Music lesson options are piano, violin, cello, voice, or percussion. If you are applying for a music scholarship, please specify instrument desired in essay. Essays should be no longer than one-page, type-written, single-spaced, in a 12-point font. Contestants’ ages will be taken into consideration. Award will be based on imagination, creativity, and merit, not financial need.

The contest will be judged by a panel of arts teachers unaffiliated with KAMA. Please include contestant’s name, age, grade, email address, and phone number. Submit essays by Oct. 1st, 2011 via email to: kamascholarship@gmail.com

Winners will be announced Oct. 3rd, 2011 via email!
